Features:

Knowledge is per player, not per party

Two characters can hold contradictory beliefs about the same creature, and neither of them knows which one is right.

A failed Recall Knowledge check under Dubious Knowledge produces a false fact, and that fact renders in the player's bestiary exactly like a true one. Only the GM sees the truth.

GM dashboard

The roster lists every player who has a character, with per-player counts for Monsters Encountered, Monsters Identified, Monsters Killed and Facts Discovered. From there you can open any player's bestiary as they see it, and edit it directly.

The Party Knowledge view combines everything the whole party knows, searchable, showing which abilities, strikes, spells and lore are known and by whom.

Export any player's bestiary to file, or import one with a choice of Merge, which adds new creatures and skips existing ones, or Replace, which wipes and loads. You can also clear a single player's bestiary, or all bestiary data server-wide.

The player bestiary

Creatures appear as cards with a knowledge-completion percentage. Free-text search sits alongside filters for All, Identified only and Unidentified only, plus sorting by name or kill count.

Opening a creature gives you eight tabs: Stats, Abilities, Strikes, Spells, Lore, Notes, GM Notes and History. Stat coverage runs to HP, AC, Perception, Reactive Strike, all three saves plus weakest and strongest, Speed, Senses, Fast Healing and Regeneration, Immunities, Weaknesses, Resistances, Skills, Languages, Traits, Size, Rarity, Level and Spellcaster status.

Each player keeps their own free-text notes per creature, and the GM has a separate private GM Notes tab. The History tab records how knowledge about that creature accumulated. Artwork opens full-size in its own window.

Recall Knowledge

Native PF2e Recall Knowledge rolls from the character sheet are detected in chat by their action options. The Knowledge Prompt opens pre-filled with the target creature, the rolling player and the roll's outcome.

Each creature's detail page can also show which skills apply for RK checks, optionally only after the creature has been identified.

The Knowledge Prompt (GM)

This is what the GM uses to grant knowledge. Five input modes provide a source of information that can be queued.

Outcomes are the four degrees: Critical Success, Success, Failure (Dubious Knowledge), and Critical Failure, which marks every queued item false and shows a warning banner.

By default, once true information is revealed, false information can't replace it. That's configurable.

Auto Discovery

Reveals what the party can see happen, configured through its own settings window and grouped by combat phase.

Entering combat. Size and Creature Type.

During combat. Strike names and traits when used. Ability names and action costs when used. That a creature is a caster, and its tradition, on its first spell. Individual spell names, ranks and traditions added to the Spells tab when cast, off by default. Reactive Strike when used. Immunities, Weaknesses and Resistances at full value when triggered by damage, with an option to reveal a resistance only when damage actually exceeded it. Fast Healing and Regeneration at the start of the creature's turn, with an option to hide the deactivation method until a successful RK check.

Ending combat. A per-player Combat Summary pop-up covering what they learned during the fight, and Kill Discovery, where whoever kills a creature learns one random unrevealed fact about it, once per creature per combat.

Monsters register when combat starts, when combatants are added to an active combat, or when hidden tokens are revealed mid-combat.

Knowledge sharing

After learning something, a player is asked whether to share it. Sharing adds the entry to every player's bestiary and posts a public chat card.

Compare Notes sessions are live and multi-player, letting participants browse each other's creature knowledge side by side. The host picks which online players to invite, and each can join or decline. Import a single stat, fact, ability, strike or note from another player, or "All" to pull everything you're missing on that creature. Creature selection, joins, leaves and updates propagate to every participant in real time over socketlib.

You can also import another player's name for a creature, false name included.

Identity masking

Players see ???? on tokens and in the combat tracker for unidentified creatures, and their own, possibly false, name once identified.

Stat display modes

Three world-level presentations for AC, HP, Saves and Perception:

ModeShows
PreciseExact numbers
EstimateRelative strength against the creature's level: Extreme / High / Moderate / Low / Terrible
BothCombined display

Estimates are computed against the PF2e Core Rulebook creature-building tables, with full per-level threshold data for AC and for saves/Perception from level −1 through 24.

Adding to Bestiary

Right-click any NPC in the actor directory for Add to Bestiary, or use the Bestiary button on NPC sheets. Three entry modes:

ModeResult
Blank EntryName ????, nothing revealed
EncounterName ????, size and type revealed
Full RevealEvery stat revealed with true values

Choose which players receive the entry. From the detail window, Identify and Mystify toggles flip a creature's identified state, including clearing a misidentification. GMs can edit any fact, set a False Name, and delete individual facts or whole entries.

Settings

Eight settings appear in the Wayfinder Control Panel. The fourteen Auto Discovery settings are managed only through the Auto Discovery Settings window.
