1.3.3 — 2026-09-23

Fixed some items being incorrectly classified as candles or normal torches.
1.3.2 — 2026-09-21
Accommodating new CSS architecture deferred to Core. Requires Wayfinder Core 1.1.0+
Added Animate Toggling Lights, which when enabled animates light sources being lit and snuffed out.
1.3.1 — 2026-09-17
Multiple visual improvements made to Vision, Wall Edge, and Fog of War attenuation.
1.3.0 — 2026-09-06
Added native Crucible system support. In Crucible, lights can either inherit both visual configuration and behavior from Crucible (default light color configuration, Torch unusable after extinguishing), one of them or neither and be configured manually in Light Configuration menu. Crucible has a separate tiered oil system durations (Shoddy, Standard, Fine, Superior, Masterwork) that is also editable and defaults to original system values. Immersive Light also now correctly appends the 'Light' button to items on the inventory list in crucible, ensuring custom light sources work as intended as well.
Added Match system defaults toggle to PF2e as well, allowing you to use preconfigured light values for Light items, as configured in their default RuleElements. The setting is off by default, retaining the old behavior of manually adjustable light visuals.
Styling changes for Light tab in Light Configuration window.
Fixed inconsistent dropped light token disposition.
1.2.1 — 2026-08-31
Migrated to new PIXI.BlurFilter path.
1.2.0 — 2026-08-28
Added Vision Attenuation, a setting that allows you to adjust the feathering previously limited to Light Cones and Wall cast shadows to character's vision cones, mostly caused by line of sight obstructions.
Added Fog of War Attenuation, a prototype new feature that softens the borders between explored and unexplored areas.
Both of the above, as well as Wall Shadows and Light Cones Attenuation now have separate sliders, and are moved into an entirely new menu - Light Rendering Settings, found in Immersive Light section of Wayfinder Control Panel.
Added Pick Up button on the Token HUD that instantly picks up the entire dropped light item pile, while keeping the lightsource lit.
Added support for dropped lights chat messages to allow for more natural sounding chat messages for dropped lights, completely distinct from carried light messages.
Changed the layout of the Messages tab in Light Configuration menu to accommodate for 'Dropped Light' fields.
Fixed a number of bugs related to clean-up of old light sources.
Fixed system-agnostic detection for systems with no in-built support to prevent a bug that caused item's name change to prevent it from working.
Fixed custom lanterns sometimes consuming themselves instead of fuel, regardless of settings.
Fixed messages claiming incorrectly a light 'went out' when it was dropped to the ground instead.
1.1.0 — 2026-08-15
Improved the configuration menu to consolidate three separate windows into one. The improved configuration menu now allows you to add custom light source types, custom fuel types, and edit most values of existing light source and fuel types. Additionally, the color/intensity section has a live preview for the light source color and the message sections wildcards are clickable.
1.0.2 — 2026-08-10
Added Light Attenuation - an optional setting that allows you to soften the hard edges of cone lights (Bull's Eye Lanterns/Scene lights with emission angle) as well as any shadows cast by walls occluding light.
1.0.1 — 2026-08-06
v14.365, PF2e 8.4.0, 5e 5.3.3 verification.
