AI Policy

Our code is the product of our own hard work first and foremost. Some AI is used during development to assist with various coding/debugging tasks such as testing a fully built module adversarially for any bugs that might disrupt your games, dev environment management and others. We keep it unintrusive and it's used primarily for workflow purposes to help us efficiently manage our time and focus on the main body of the work. We're currently not doing this full-time, but we aim to, and as such our time is limited.

After we write the code, the two of us rigorously test the modules ourselves, under any conceivable scenario it might run into. We do this in an effort to ensure that all our modules work as smoothly as possible and will not cause issues with your games. All our modules are used in our own games. We do not release our modules until we have as much certainty as possible, with the testing we've done, that they won't cause issues and are as optimized as possible. We can't guarantee we catch everything though, so if you run into an issue, please let us know. We'll be more than happy to help.

No graphical assets, music or anything outside of the outlined use cases was, or ever will be AI generated. None of our modules use AI integrations or ever will. We draw a line between coding assistance and use-case number two, which we will never do: Discarding the creativity that the TTRPG community is known for, in favor of the graphical, audio and story output produced by the spirits in the machine. We draw our own art where needed, and if we can't make certain assets ourselves, we either find appropriate, license-free human art or buy commercially licensed products.

Our modules comply with Foundry's AI policy, whether they are listed on Foundry package listings or not. We know how our code works, we build it, test it, review it and we ensure it's in a functional state upon release.

If you are able to, please support the artists who are working within the community.

Thank you.
